founded by (David) D.A. Therrien as a performance art group. COMFORT/CONTROL has been exploring the collision between body and machine and the intersection of politics, religion and technology since 1984.
Members varied by perfomance, but include Tim North (RIP), Scot Jenerik, and Robert Turman
Therrien's performance structures interface the body and the machine directly, using the human body to control and be controlled by robotics, biomechanical high voltage switching devices and massive, extreme high intensity alphanumeric light arrays
